This policy explains how to request a refund from AutoEstimatePro, how quickly we respond, and how to cancel a subscription. It applies to per-report purchases and to all subscription plans.
How to request a refund
Email support@autoestimatepro.com from the address on your account and tell us what happened. We aim to reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
How we decide
Requests are reviewed case by case, and in practice most are approved. We refund in full every time a report failed to generate, was never delivered, or came back unusable; when you were charged more than once for the same purchase; when you were charged after cancelling; or when a fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for. We will usually approve a refund where a delivered report did not meet a reasonable expectation, where you subscribed recently and have not meaningfully used the plan, or where you bought the wrong plan by mistake. We are less likely to approve a refund once most of a period's included reports have been consumed, for periods that ended some time ago, or where the complaint is that an estimate did not match the final real-world repair cost — reports are AI-generated projections, not inspections or guaranteed quotes. If we decline, we tell you why and you can ask us to look again.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel online at any time without contacting us. Open Settings, choose Billing, then Manage billing and cancel, which opens your secure Stripe billing portal. Body Shop members can cancel the same way from the Body Shop dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan and its included reports stay usable through the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period. We never require a phone call, a hold queue, or a retention offer to cancel.
Chargebacks
Please email us before filing a chargeback. A chargeback takes weeks to resolve and usually freezes the account while it is open, where we can normally settle the same issue within a couple of days.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer protection law that applies where you live. Where local law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, that law applies.
