AutoEstimatePro for Android uses vehicle photos and a VIN for preliminary repair reports. Free download; paid reports and subscriptions.

One app for the repair, the replacement part and the purchase plan
AutoEstimatePro brings photo-and-VIN damage reports, AI Part Finder and auction budget tools to your Android phone. Start with a vehicle you own or a candidate you are researching, then move from an itemized estimate to the parts, questions and scenarios that help you decide what to do next.
Five report purposes, tailored to your next decision
Choose Rebuild, Flip / Resell, Part-Out, Repair or Insurance before submitting your photos and VIN. Each purpose starts with an itemized damage assessment, then applies the appropriate repair-pricing assumptions and report sections.
| Report purpose | What to plan | Report details |
| Rebuild | Repair a vehicle to keep or drive | Budget aftermarket assumptions, replacement-part links when available, vehicle-value and bid scenarios |
| Flip / Resell | Compare a resale opportunity | Repair-cost context and auction investment analysis, including an as-is flip strategy; purchase links are omitted |
| Part-Out | Evaluate dismantling and selling components | Part-out value range and salvage bid planning; replacement purchase links are omitted |
| Repair | Discuss a repair with a body shop | Shop-oriented parts and labor, sourcing links when available, and supplied shop/customer details; investment sections are hidden |
| Insurance | Organize an early claim assessment | Itemized repair scope, available sourcing, supplied shop/customer and claim references; investment sections are hidden |
Read the complete repair picture
- Vehicle identity and analyzed photos: review VIN-derived details such as engine, transmission, drive type and trim when available, alongside the photos used for analysis.
- Damage findings: inspect each component, damage type, severity and proposed repair or replacement action. Primary, Related and Inferred labels distinguish visible observations from possible secondary damage.
- Itemized costs: see parts, body labor, paint/refinish labor and materials, plus per-line operation codes, hours and totals. Adjust the hourly labor rate to explore the repair budget at a rate relevant to your situation.
- Risk and repair guidance: review overall damage severity, possible hidden-damage risk, explanatory notes, repair guidance and related video links where available. Use these to prepare specific questions for a technician.
- Replacement options: eligible report types connect damaged components to available seller listings and additional source searches. Compare OEM, used and aftermarket options, then confirm the part number, condition and delivered price.
AI Part Finder: start with a photo of the part
The separate Parts tab helps when you have a broken or unfamiliar component and need to identify it. Add up to three photos, include the vehicle details you know, and optionally add a ZIP code for sourcing context. Results can include a candidate part name, category, side, visible condition, possible OEM part number, compatibility notes and buying tips, followed by replacement listings.
Report sourcing starts with a component in an existing damage report. AI Part Finder starts with your own part photos. It is available to eligible paid accounts; check your current access in the app. Explore the photo-to-parts workflow and fitment checklist.
Compare vehicle value and three auction strategies
Auction reports add an Investment Analysis section. Depending on available data, it shows as-is planning values, clean-title and salvage-title after-repair estimates, a part-out range, market-value examples, source context and an update date. Market commentary covers demand, repair complexity, parts availability and resale outlook.
- Maximum Flip Bid: explore an as-is resale strategy with a selected target return.
- Maximum Rebuild Bid: include the repair budget when planning to repair the vehicle.
- Maximum Salvage Bid: compare a part-out strategy against the estimated recoverable-parts value.
Change the title-value selection and return target to compare scenarios. These are planning ceilings: the report uses a simplified 5% auction-fee assumption, and the underlying values and repair scope need verification.
The separate Max Bid tool in the Tools tab lets you enter resale value, repairs, transport, miscellaneous costs and target profit. Use estimated auction fees for an early scenario or enter your own verified fee amount. This makes it useful for testing what changes when the repair grows, transport costs more or the expected resale value falls.
The report’s transport calculator accepts an origin and destination city or ZIP, or a distance you enter yourself. Review the vehicle-size adjustment and cost breakdown, then add the transport estimate to your report. Confirm an actual carrier quote and the auction’s current account-specific charges before committing.
Ask questions, revisit reports and share the next step
Sign in to use the in-app AI Auction Assistant for text questions about auction research, repair budgeting and bidding strategy. It is separate from photo analysis and does not spend report credits. Usage limits apply. It helps explain a decision; it does not fetch live auction inventory or place bids.
Reopen saved account reports from the Reports tab. Use the report’s Share action to create a web link and send it through your phone’s share sheet to a shop, partner or other reviewer. Review the vehicle details and unresolved items together so the next conversation starts with the same evidence.
Start with the vehicle in front of you
- Enter the 17-character VIN and review the available vehicle details.
- Choose a report purpose, then take clear photos or select authorized vehicle images from your library.
- Review the report, adjust your labor assumptions and investigate uncertain items.
- Follow relevant parts listings, try Part Finder for a specific component, or compare an auction budget scenario.
- Share the report with the person helping you verify the repair or purchase.
A VIN decode identifies vehicle specifications; it is not a complete vehicle-history check. Reports are preliminary: confirm hidden damage, procedures, fitment and final costs with a qualified professional before bidding or authorizing work.
Follow the complete Android report workflow, including a photo checklist, Part Finder example and worked repair budget. Also available: the iPhone app and web report options.
Android app questions
Is AutoEstimatePro available for Android?
Yes. Download Car Repair Cost Estimator AI by AutoEstimatePro LLC from the official Google Play listing. The Android package is com.autoestimatepro.mobile.
Is the Android app free?
The app is free to download. Repair reports and subscriptions are paid purchases. Check Google Play and the in-app purchase screen for current local prices, included reports and renewal terms.
What do I need for a photo repair estimate?
Prepare the vehicle VIN and clear, authorized photos showing the vehicle and damaged areas. Include wider context and close-ups. Missing views increase uncertainty; do not substitute stock photos or pictures of another vehicle.
What else can I do besides create an estimate?
Use the separate AI Part Finder to identify a photographed component, review eligible auction reports with vehicle-value and bid scenarios, calculate transport and maximum bids, ask the AI Auction Assistant text questions, and reopen or share saved reports.
Which reports include replacement-part links?
Rebuild, Repair and Insurance reports show component purchase links when sources are available. Flip and Part-Out reports omit purchase links and focus on their investment purpose. AI Part Finder is a separate photo-identification and sourcing tool for eligible paid accounts.
Can photos confirm hidden damage?
No. Reports can flag possible related or hidden damage, but photos cannot confirm everything behind a panel or test a vehicle’s structure, electrical systems or safety equipment. A qualified professional must verify the repair scope.
Can I use the app to plan an auction bid?
Auction report options support flip, rebuild and salvage bid planning. Treat the result as a scenario based on the repair budget and your assumptions. Confirm fees, transport, title eligibility and vehicle value separately before bidding.
