About AutoEstimatePro
We're revolutionizing vehicle damage assessment through artificial intelligence, providing accurate, instant repair estimates and investment insights.
Our Story
AutoEstimatePro was founded in 2024 by a team of automotive and AI experts who recognized a fundamental problem in the vehicle assessment industry: traditional methods were slow, inconsistent, and prone to human error.
Today, AutoEstimatePro serves insurance companies, repair shops, auctions, and individual vehicle owners, providing AI-powered assessment that delivers consistent, comprehensive results in seconds.
Our Mission
To democratize vehicle damage assessment through accessible, accurate AI technology that empowers everyone in the automotive ecosystem to make better decisions faster.
What We Actually Build
AutoEstimatePro turns two inputs — photographs of a damaged vehicle and its VIN — into a structured repair report. The report itemizes damage panel by panel, attaches labor hours and parts costs to each line, flags damage that is probably present but not visible in the photos, and prices replacement parts against live marketplace listings rather than a static catalog.
The part that matters most to auction buyers is the number at the end. Every report resolves to three bid ceilings: a Maximum Flip Bid for reselling the vehicle as-is, a Maximum Rebuild Bid for repairing and reselling it, and a Maximum Salvage Bid for parting it out. Those figures are what turn a repair estimate into a purchase decision, and they are the reason a report costs less than a single bad bid.
Who Uses It
Our users are mostly people bidding against a clock. Salvage buyers at Copart and IAA work through lot lists where every vehicle is photographed but none are inspected, and a wrong guess on hidden structural damage is the difference between a profitable flip and a parked loss. Rebuilders and independent dealers use the same reports to decide what to acquire and what to pass on. Body shops and collision estimators use the photo-estimate intake to qualify jobs before the vehicle arrives, and insurance adjusters use it to document damage early enough to reduce supplements later.
Two Products, One Company
AutoEstimatePro LLC operates two software products for two different markets. This site serves the salvage-auction side: buyers, flippers, rebuilders, and dealers who need damage reports and bid ceilings. Our sister product at autorepairestimate.ai serves the consumer and collision side, with a nationwide body-shop directory and photo-estimate intake for vehicle owners and the shops that repair their cars. They share engineering but solve different problems, and we keep them separate rather than forcing one interface to do both jobs.
How We Think About Accuracy
An estimate that is confidently wrong is worse than one that admits what it does not know. Damage that cannot be seen in a photograph cannot be priced from that photograph, so the report marks likely related and hidden damage as inferred instead of silently folding a guess into the total. That makes our estimates conservative by design and keeps the number you bid against grounded in what the images actually show.
